What is your favorite thing about blogging?
Getting to talk about something
I do, regardless of whether or not anyone cares, and how I did it.
We want to know all about your blog. How long have you been blogging, what do you write about,
and do you blog full time or just for fun?
My blog has gone through a few
major changes over the years. In the beginning, I wrote a blog for outdoor
enthusiasts, which later, turned into a blog about my personal life. A year
ago, that same blog, became a daily chronicle of my style choices, and it's
when this happened, that I decided to change the name and change my whole blog
concept. In May, b8sics.com was born, and with it, a community. A cooking and
fitness blog, where added to the b8sics home, and with them, two other ladies
that write the content. Today, my blog (style.b8sics.com) is still improving,
but now focuses on my personal style, and how I put together looks, with a
minimal budget.
What’s your day job?
License Coordinator for
Universal Uclick. I manage property rights for comic strip characters.
Where are you originally from, and how long have you been in
Kansas City?
Grew up all over the place, but
I'll always think of Kansas City as home. I lived in KC as a teenager (six
years), but then left for college, followed by a move to California. I've been
back in Kansas City for a little over a year now, and am happy to be home.

What is your favorite thing about blogging?
I love reading other blogs for
the same reason I like writing my own: a window into the life and ideas of
creative individuals.

Skipping around from this blog
to that since 2007...but blogging at b8sics since spring 2012. My blog is about
food: recipes, ideas, gardening, cookbook reviews.

Akron, Ohio, and I’ve been in
