Tobe says without a doubt her favorite thing about blogging is the opportunity to connect with like minded, design obsessed individuals like herself. She just celebrated one year of blogging on February 7th. Her blogs topics typically hover aroundsubjects like art, design, lettering and interiors, but occasionally stray tofashion and lifestyle. She and her husband bought a beautiful new home in December of 2011 and she fully intends to blog the decorating process, andinterior design is a not-so-secret obsession of hers. It's definitely a parttime venture at this point.
By day she does hand lettering for Hallmark Cards. However Tobe also co-runs an Etsy shop with 2 other designers, selling inspirationalart prints. They opened the shop in the fall of 2011. She also co-owns afreelance graphic design business called Two Tall Blondes, specializing ineverything from logo/brand development to web design to custom invitations. She jokes that she does not specialize in free time. She's a Kansas City native, attended K-State for college and then moved right back. She says she's always wanted to work for Hallmark, and now she does. Awesome!
