Betsy says her favorite thing about blogging is that it provides her with an outlet for her creative projects as well as giving her a forum to share and discuss the designs, artists, and ideas that she loves. She's been blogging for four years now, and the blog is a mix of what's going on at the shop she owns and operates with her sister Emily, bon bon atelier, as well as her own crafty projects, and design ideas.
Bon bon atelier is located in Westport, and sells fabric, yarn, gift items, many of which are handmade and local. They also offer and teach sewing classes, and have been in business for 5 years. Betsy's full time job is running the shop. She's originally from Petersburg, Illinois, and has been living in Kansas City for 8 years.
