Lauren's favorite thing about blogging is that she's met so many talented and friendly people, and has developed relationships with people she wouldn't have ever met otherwise. January of this year marked five years of blogging for her. She says she would categorize her My Aunt June as a craft blog, but it's evolved over the years and become a place to share personal news, and announcements about new products from her business. She blogs part time, and says that it takes her so long to put a post together she's not sure how people do it everyday!
Lauren runs her business selling fabric she designs, as well as downloadable paper products. She's been doing it for five years, and is only five sales away from her 1000th Etsy sale! When she started she sold tote bags, and other random items but has since phased this out of her products. She's been sewing for over 7 years and designing fabric for 2 and a half.
She also works part time at Harper's Fabric and Quilt Company, and occasionally fills in at bon bon atelier as a shop girl. She's originally from St. Joseph, and moved to Kansas City after getting married in 2006. She says she loves it so much here!
